02/03/2007: "The Other White Milk" OH. My. God. Read this article about the National Pork Board getting their thongs twisted about tee-shirt slogans from a breastfeeding activist.

Because, apparently, a Tee-shirt saying "The Other White Milk" will cause confusion among people who are old enough to read.

Thanks for the link - I'm so irked, I wrote the National Pork Board (pork.org) to express that I will not consume products that they endorse until the cease and desist for Lactivist is dropped. Jerkasses.

My wife had our daughter at home, and breast-fed her, and participated in the Laleche League and other supportive activities around the healthy, wonderful, activity of breastfeeding. So I just want to tell you how utterly foolish your attack on the Lactivist and her "the other white milk" campaign is. It makes you guys look like morons. Breastfeeding is a natural, noble activity, whose increase as an American practice would immeasurably increase the overall health of the nation. Your organization should be damn proud to be linked with it, and even throw a few checkoff dollars its way to get in on the healthy glow! Your pr boys missed the boat by a mile on this one, believe me. Shame on you.
