centre of the universe: the dreaming

06/03/2008: "cenobyte answers" You have asked, "cenobyte, what would you like for your birthday?"

Well. cenobyte aims to please. (Sometimes, cenobyte's aim is a little off, but in the long run, it's better to just tell her she's awesome, regardless of what she's just hit.)

For her birthday, cenobyte would like a calculator that shoots bees.

It doesn't have to be a particularly fancy calculator; there's no need for fancy functions like sin. The calculator doesn't even need to integrate well. Honestly, subtraction is over-rated. But a calculator that shoots bees...now *that's* impressive.

Now, you can't all rush out and build cenobyte a calculator that shoots bees...well, actually, you all *could* do that, but let's just start a little list here:
1. Calculator that shoots bees.
2. Endless current pool.
3. Fancy rocks, with eyes drawn on. Some with scary eyes, some with surprised eyes, some with happy eyes. And angry eyes. But no sad eyes, please.
4. Something called Beatrice.
5. Machismo.
6. A small statue with a confused-looking angel on it.
7. Four things made of dark chocolate.
8. An object belonging to someone else.
9. Someone to put a new faucet on the outside water line, which cenobyte *can* do, but probably will put off indefinitely.
10. Anything from Heifer International (there's a link on the sidebar down there, where there's actually a gift registry set up).

Now you know.

Jenn , on Tuesday, 3rd June:

Did I mention that Mary's middle name is Beatrice? You can't have her, of course, but I may be willing to have her spend some time with your youngest again soon.

Coyote , on Tuesday, 3rd June:

What kind of outside tap? I can pick it up at work, and we can get it done pretty quick, if you got the wrenches, which I'm assuming you do.

cenobyte , on Tuesday, 3rd June:

Jenn - sure! That would rock.

Coyote - Ummm...an outside faucet kind of tap? The kind you turn on when you want water to come out of the hose? The pipe broke in half last year and I have to solder a new faucet attachment on to the damned thing. I have *some* wrenches...

Coyote , on Tuesday, 3rd June:

Email me some pictures of the broken tap, and I'll take them to work and see what is needed to fix it, and we'll hook that up ok?

The beauty of working at CMS, I get access to such cool stuff for cheap. :)

Noah , on Wednesday, 4th June:

Coyote works at CMS? Cool!

Coyote , on Wednesday, 4th June:

yaaryar, since last summer, they are the only place I've found that will let me work just one shift a week, and occasionally take those saturdays off when I've got big tests durring the school year, and then I go full time durring the summer.

Family owned businesses that actually take care of their employees ROCK.

Coyote , on Thursday, 5th June:

Pictures good. Totally fixable. Will bring pipe cutter, emery (sp?) paper and a compression faucet. Whee!
