06/27/2008: "Postulation" Sometimes, it's reassuring to know that people everywhere are, at their core, the very same as you and me. It helps to know that we need the same things. That we all come in to the world the same way:


and that we all leave the same way, too:


We need to remember this more. And more often.
We need to smile more. We need to cry. We are united in what makes us *what* we are, and we diverge in *who* we are. But you and I, we are skimming this reality together; we may not share the same path, but I am beside you, and you beside me.

Sometimes, the miracle that is life, and the one-ness that we share...that we truly share...humbles me.
