07/07/2008: "The days are losing tempo"
I'm no good at leaving. In fact, it's one of the things I detest doing. Arriving is usually awkward, but leaving is just plain poopy. This is what I'm missing.
We were sitting in the living room, enjoying the movable air, and His Nibs says, "I was thinking of making hotdogs for supper, but we haven't any buns, so we can just use bread".
"Why don't I make some hotdog buns?" I offered.
"Because it's hot like a hot thing," His Nibs said, "and the oven would just make it hotter."
"...but...I...could...make...them...on...the...BARBEQUE!!!" I exclaimed with glee (the idea came to me as I was saying it; hence all the ellipses).
So. I made buns on the BBQ.
"Those of us who loved her and were with her till the end" "Everything's coming up something."

Offtopic, sort of.
The Saskblogs.ca BBQ is July 27 at noon, hopefully you can make it?

I bow at your bread-making skills.
Sooooo... Any plans to put a brick oven in your back yard now?

Warm bread and cool water. The sweet simplicity of summer.

Damn. Brick oven. Damn, that's a good idea.
Honestly, I've wanted to build a 'summer kitchen' of sorts in the back...a new patio. I'd like a brick oven/grille and a little area with a sink and counter. And I'd also like an outdoor shower. We'll see how far that goes.
