09/29/2008: "LOOOOOOOT!" Okay, so do you know what happened today?

I had asked Melistress if she would make me an acorn yarn bag, because the pattern calls for crochet, and I'm not so good at that at the moment, and so she sent me an acorn yarn bag! BUT DO YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE!??

She sent me stuff inside stuff! Extra stuff! AWESOME stuff! If my camera were working, I'd post the photos, but rest assured, I will be posting them soon. I don't want to ruin the surprise, though, so all I'll say now is this: handmade arthropods (exceedingly *cute* arthropods), baubles, and utility items that GLOW IN THE DARK!!!

Also, Snoozy was by last night, and do you know what she did? SHE MADE ME SOME LOOT AS WELL!!! I'm not at liberty to say what she made me, but I'll post pictures soon. (Hint: it, also, is a utility item that can cause grievous bodily damage).

You don't even know how much I love the LOOT!. I'm tempted to videotape my reaction and post it on SpazTube or something. I ran around the office (because I picked up the mail this morning) doing the happy-flappy hand dance and going "EEEEEEeeeeEEE!!!!" every time I opened something new.

lol...as soon as I saw the pattern for your new little buddy I knew I had to make him for you. The acorn bag was merely an excuse to make him.

Gotta love the glow in the dark yarn. I just about peed my pants when I saw it.

Yes, Brie, Glow in the Dark Yarn. You can get it from Michaels and it is made by Bernat. I believe they are carrying it for a limited time for Halloween but Bernat will be making it for awhile longer than that. There are also other online resources for other online brands of glow in the dark yarn.

Squee! I just LURVE it. But it feels icky so it is better for detail only.
